Chewy, nutty, chocolaty, and packed with tasty energy, no one will ever know these bars are low-fat and healthy!

These are gluten-free when made with rice flour and appear to be professionally made thanks to the small spoonful of corn syrup that keeps everything tightly combined and gives the bars a nice shine.

1. Dried Fruit Healthy Granola

This first recipe makes granola bars an absolute HIT in Hollywood. This recipe is very versatile so you could add anything from dried fruit to chocolate chips to add variety.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed kernels
  • 1/3 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1/4 cup flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white

Directions:  

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Line a 9×13-inch pan with aluminum foil and grease.
  3. Stir oats, flour, raisins, almonds, sunflower seeds, steel-cut oats, flax seeds, cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl.
  4. Whisk agave nectar, honey, coconut oil, egg, and egg white together in a separate bowl.
  5. Stir agave nectar mixture into oats mixture until well combined.
  6. Spread mixture into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until browned on the edges, 25 to 30 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cups natural crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 cup ground flax seed
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Directions: 

  1. Stir oats, peanut butter, flax seed, honey, cranberries, chocolate chips, and almonds together in a bowl; press into a 9x 11-inch baking dish, using the back of a spatula to press into a flat layer.
  2. Refrigerate mixture at least 1 hour.
  3. Cut into 12 bars and wrap each individually in plastic wrap for storage.

3. Chewy, Nutty, Healthy Granola

Ingredients:

  • 3 cup peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 2/3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and continue baking until chocolate melts and edges begin to brown, about 5 minutes more.
  2. Spread mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour peanut butter mixture over the oat mixture; stir to coat completely.
  4. Stir peanuts and raisins into oat mixture.
  5. Combine oats and flour in a bowl; toss to coat oats with flour.
  6. Mix applesauce into peanut butter mixture.
  7. Add brown sugar, honey, corn syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt; stir.
  8. Stir peanut butter and melted butter together in a bowl until smooth.
  9. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  10. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  11. Spread melted chocolate chips with the back of a spoon or a rubber spatula to coat the top.
  12. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
